I Can See Angels

SP_A0067

Last year on a very rare summer’s day, I was having a picnic with my family when I decided to look up at the sky to see what imaginary shapes I could make out of the clouds. I enjoy this game. I know that some of you may think it’s a little childish but I find it helps to keep me amused when my mind wants to drift off to somewhere else. The first image I saw was the face of a dragon with short ears and an enormous mouth and it looked as though smoke was billowing from its nostrils. The cloud swiftly moved along with the breeze and the dragon soon changed to that of a sheep and I laughed to myself thinking how amazing that would be if animals could really change shape as easily as a cloud disperses.

I soon lay down on the grass with a rather full tummy, having eaten all the fresh cream cake I could muster and gazed up to see a very white/silvery cloud hovering above my head. As my eyes stared at what looked like a big, fluffy cotton wool ball, the shape of an angel began to take form and I was a little alarmed at how real it was beginning to look. There was no mistaking the two huge wings protruding from its back and at the bottom of the white flowing robe was definitely a pair of bare feet. The head was a mass of curls and I was taken aback by how clear the image looked to me. Of course, it was just an illusion, but a shiver ran down my spine just the same, however, when I glanced back, the angel was gone.

I thought nothing more about it but the very next day something really strange happened. I was driving back from work when I looked up and there, right in front of me was practically the same angel I’d seen in the sky but this time it was in the form of a tree. (Please note the picture in this article of the tree angel is real and taken with my own mobile phone). I was so speechless that I even had to stop the car to get out because the sight of it affected me so much. You see, my mum had not long since ‘passed over’ and she promised me if she could send me a sign to tell me that there was something else after we die she would send me an angel. I know it isn’t quite what I would have expected but then anything from ‘the other side’ would not be of the ordinary. I know most people will say it was a coincidence, but me, well I personally believe you have to be open-minded about these things. Please understand I don’t believe in all the mumbo jumbo you read about in magazines or see on the TV but I like to think that when specific signs are left for you, it is perhaps time to come to terms with the fact that someone you care for is trying to let you know that they are okay.

I personally found this sign gave me inner peace and even if you don’t believe, you can still use these experiences in a positive way. You can use them in your writing or perhaps even to give comfort to others. Either way angels are sent to calm us and let us know that loved ones are alright. Although I am not a religious person, I find the video that I have attached tells a very interesting true story about a man who believes he is saved by an angel which is seen by a police officer.

What is your view on angels? I would truly love to know.

Best wishes,

Lynette
